Ring Fit Adventure Mods Roundup!

Overview

For a while we wanted a way to bring the Ring Fit Adventure control schemes into other games. It was an amazing exercise game but like most exercise games it gets boring really quickly. Now imagine if your favorite game could be played with exercise controls? Mario Kart but now you have to run to drive. Elden Ring becomes an actual challenge if you had to literally run across the Lands Between. Why not take a bike ride across Eorzea in FFXIV!  Well it is finally time for me to put out resources for these ideas! We have a free mod for PC games and new hardware that is actually in stock!

We'll be going over the two methods in a YouTube video as well as linking to each of the mods that I've worked on. Those pages will contain a template for the scripts that are used so you can modify them for your needs!

Ring Fit Mod Roundup Video Tutorial!

This YouTube video goes over the two reliable methods to play games by exercising. Watch this for a quick tutorial and overview on how these mods work! Once you're done watching check out the individual mod pages under the Projects tab!

Ringcon Driver by @RingrunnerMG

Want to play your favorite PC games with Ring Fit controls? RingrunnerMG gotchu here's his free PC mod that you can find oh his Github! It's a really handy tool that let's you connect your Joy-Cons to your PC
  • Where do I download this mod?
    • The driver can be found on their Github page!
  • How do I set this up?
    • Follow the instructions on the Github page!
  • What do I need?
    • A Ringcon and Leg Strap (which comes with Ring Fit Adventure)
    • Bluetooth Adapter (most PC/Laptops come with this)
    • Anything higher than a Windows 7 PC
  • Is it Free?
    • Yeah! However you should always tip your modders and they have a paypal link in the app!
  • Any Downsides?
    • It only works on PC and the controls aren't customizable. However don't let that distract you from how good this mod is!

Cronus Zen

Currently the Cronus Zen is what I use for all of my mods. Originally I recommended the Titan Two however that kept going out of stock. However we do have a replacement called the Cronus Zen which almost does everything the Titan Two does. It also cost $300 less so that's a plus. The only issue I've had is that it switches the Joy-con placement (the Ringcon joycon is in your leg strap now) but it hasn't affected any of my gameplay what so ever! As a REMINDER: Make sure you SWAP the position of your Joycons. Your Ring-Con Joy-Con is now in the Leg Strap. The Leg Strap Joy-con is now in your hand!

  • What do I need?
    • Just buy the Cronus Zen hardware online via their website or on Amazon! Outside of that not much other than the two Joy-Cons that come with your Nintendo Switch. I've seen them go from $90-$130 depending where you look: Amazon Link ($120)
  • How do I set it up?
    • My YouTube video goes over the software side however the Cronus Zen comes with a manual! It's really straight forward but if you want a more in depth set-up guide check our their website: Cronus Zen Guide
  • Which consoles does it work on?
    • Every single Current and old Gen console plus PC. Also each script made for our mods does not care what platform it is being used for. For example, my Mario Kart 8 bike mod will work on the Nintendo Switch Version and the (definitely do not condone) PC emulator version.
  • How do I play [X] Game with your mods?
    • Go to the Projects Tab and select the mod you want to use! As a general guide, just plug the Cronus Zen's port on the back into the system you want. Connect your Joy-Cons to the Cronus Zen and load up the script and you're good to go!
