Minecraft Boxing

Overview

Minecraft is such a beloved game and of course I have to ruin it with exercising. On the bright side we can figure out what's like to be Steve to punch trees all day. With the power of the Titan Two (and soon enough CronusZen) we will lose weight and blow up creepers at the same time. It's a fun upper body work out and honestly a good way to get the stress out on blocks in a game. Each Joy-Con can detect a punch motion and with that it presses the R2 button which is the mining buttons.

I'm still on a journey to make a boxing glove controller work for FFXIV but I took a side quest and made a prototype for Minecraft

Punching trees with motion controls is something I didn't think I would be doing in 2022 but here we are □ pic.twitter.com/Y43U2tI12p

How to Step-up! (Titan Two)

Currently the only method is to use the Titan Two however we're working on the CronusZen version is coming soon! For the Titan Two method the out-of-the-box Joy-Cons work!

What you need for the Titan Two
  • Titan Two: Amazon Link
  • Two Joy-Con
  • Titan Two Wireless Expansion Kit
  • GTunerIV Software: Website
Head over to my Github Page to download the script needed for this set-up! Download the .GPC and look up the manual for the Titan Two if you have any issues.
  1.  Connect your Titan Two to your PC via the OUTPUT port
  2.  Connect your Titan Two to your PC via the PROG port
  3.  Connect a Xbox 360 or Xbox One controller to the SLOT B port
  4.  Open up the Gtuner IV software
  5.  Load the .GPC file to the Gtuner IV GPC Script IDE
  6.  Connect your joycons to the Titan Two via the Device Configuration tab on the right side of the UI. (Use the "Wireless Bluetooth Pairing" button after activating the JoyCons Sync Button")
  7.  On GTuner IV, under "Device Configuration", Make sure the Output Protocol is set to either: "USB Automatic" or "USB Xbox 360"
  8.  Press the Green "Test and debug" Arrow on Menu file
  9.  Enter into your game's window and have fun!
